Kobe Office for Business in Europe
Government Representation: City of Kobe, Japan (2020-2024)
Through its longstanding endeavor and international relations, Tiger International Trading GmbH was chosen in the year 2020 by the Kobe City Hall in a call for tender to establish a business promotion office in Europe.
Starting from May 2020, Tiger International Trading GmbH performed its services and activities for the city of Kobe under the project name “WOKobe” (GER: “Wirtschafts-Offensive Kobe“) and starting in May 2023 until April 2024, continued under a new name: “Kobe Office for Business in Europe” (K.O.B.E.).
As an official contractual partner of Kobe City, the Kobe Office for Business in Europe facilitated economic ties between Europe and Japanese enterprises. The focus was on economic activities in and with the city of Kobe, whereby we provided information, connected businesses, fostered existing partnerships and developed new collaborations. All the while, we were in close contact with governmental authorities in both Europe and Japan.
